Late C19th Japanese Meiji period porcelain charger decorated in the Imari palette.
Brightly decorated dished charger of good large scale decorated with rich enamels featuring storks or cranes and fan motifs in an asymmetrical design.
Raised on a stepped foot-ring , the verso painted with cloud motif decoration to the borders , with concentric blue lines beneath and kiln “spur” support marks in the glaze.
Typical Imari colour palette and strong iron reds and colbalt blues .
In excellent original condition with no damage or repairs.
