Fine quality early C19th George IV period figured rosewood circular lamp or centre table .
Raised on four scrolled sabre-type legs with applied turned paterae decoration, mounted on a tapering cylindrical column support onto a decorative carved ring surround , with a concave-sided platform base below .
The highly-figured rosewood top of finely selected veneers with a shallow stepped frieze below with a ‘split bead and reel’ decorative moulding .
In excellent original condition with a rich colour and patina.
A highly decorative period table of practical proportions.
