Pair of fine quality late C19th brass and scarlet red tortoiseshell boulle-work candlesticks.
Stylish pair of dome shaped base brass candlesticks with alternating panels of �premier-partie� and �contre-partie� stained scarlet red tortoiseshell and brass marquetry boulle-work inlay
Raised on square brass-mounted rosewood bases , reeded and turned stems with brass nozzles . The circular candlestick �drip-pans� with corresponding red tortoiseshell and brass boulle inlay .
Probably manufactured and retailed by Aspeys , London .
In excellent original condition with no damage or losses .
