C18th Dutch bow-front hanging corner cupboard decorated with an exotic figural scene .
Hand-painted 2-door corner cupboard with a continuous scene across the doors depicting a classical or perhaps Biblical interpretation featuring turbaned Eastern travellers with camels in a possibly Italianate landscape being greeted by women at a pillared gateway offering refreshment.
Skilfully executed painting with bright colours , and only minimal loss to small area of the original painted surface . The upright stiles to the outer edges decorated with a striking hue of colbalt blue paint . Fitted with original metal-ware with pierced hinge plates and escutcheons ,interior bolt , lock and key . The interior fitted with shaped shelves .
