Early C19th Worcester porcelain tankard by Grainger, Lee & Co., decorated with a view of the City of Worcester.
Good large size cylindrical tankard with a shapely rococo style handle and ribbed lip edge . Hand painted with a scene depicting a view of Worcester, featuring the river , river traffic , the bridge, the Cathedral and porcelain factory .
Powder pink ground body with gilded highlights .
Grainger, Lee & Co were established in Worcester from 1814 -1839 , and made a range of fine and high quality decorative porcelain.
Has a small hairline crack to body .
