Large early C20th carved walnut-framed upholstered stool of mid C19th design.
Impressively-scaled square carved walnut stool raised on shaped carved cabriole supports on scroll toes together with central carved detail to the serpentine friezes.
The upholstered padded top of flat profile covered with a recent chequer-board maroon and cream pattern fabric in excellent condition. The edges finished with traditional metal-studded detail.
Would work well as a coffee table in a period style interior scheme.
