Description

Trio of early C18th Chinese Qing Dynasty Imari pattern porcelain dished chargers , Kangxi mark and period.
A matched pair of 17” diameter dishes and a smaller 14” dish , all decorated in the Imari palette . Each bearing the underglaze blue Artemisia leaf mark of the Kangxi period (1662-1722) to the reverse within blue double concentric rings .
Decorated in the Chinese Imari colour palette of blues and reds with gilded highlights. The centres with flower-head motif decoration and the rims with a running design pattern .
In excellent original condition with no damage or repairs. The gilding in superb condition with minimal loss or rubbing.
Superbly decorative trio of early C18th Chinese porcelain chargers , each having been fitted with hanging wires . One larger dish with complete circular wire fixing , the other two with hanging wire loops drilled and fitted through the foot-rim . No chips or ‘fritting’ to the edges .
