Description

Pair of late C19th/ early C20th oval classical style bas-relief plaster panels .
Decorative pair of oval plaster panels cast with putti or amorini in bacchanalian scenes . The cherubs in each study depicted cavorting with the grape harvest and wine , and with flower garlands respectively.
The panels having a faux stone or marble aged patination , the reverse with integral wire hanging loops and wooden strengthening bars .
Well-cast plaster studies with fine attention to detail , and in excellent condition.
