Early C19th Regency period mahogany desk-top book-carrier or stand .
Shaped-sided mahogany book-carrier or desk-top tidy . Of free-standing form with a ‘hoop’ style handle , the underside of the base retaining the original red baize felt covering.
Finely-made dove-tail construction.
Good rich original patina and colour. In excellent ready-to-use condition.
A decorative and practical piece of period desk furniture, for an office or library.
