Pair of late C18th George III period provincially-made mahogany armchairs.
Pair of Georgian mahogany armchairs of elegant and restrained design with panelled top rail and reeded lumbar bars with sphere decoration . Shaped outswept arms with corresponding reeded detail .
Raised on tapering square section legs with H-section stretchers . Drop-in seats in need of re-covering (can be reupholstered at cost using client’s choice of fabric) .
In sound , usable condition with minor historic repairs . Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
