Superb quality set of 3 early C19th Regency period steel and brass fire-irons or tools .
Set of 3 brass-mounted steel fire-place tools of sophisticated design. Mounted with oversized cast-brass knob or pommel handles of organic or floral form . The shaped blade of the shovel with a cut and pierced lyre motif design. All the shafts of each tool with turned ‘knopped’ spaced divisions .
Comprising a poker , tongs and shovel , all in excellent original condition. Have been sympathetically cleaned and polished.
