Large scale pair of early C19th Regency period cast-iron terrace or garden vases of campana form.
Classical-style fluted body campana , or bell-shaped , urns of imposing scale with well defined ‘egg-and-dart’ or ovolo edged rims , raised on a fluted shaped socle support onto an integral square block base .
In excellent original condition with an old flakey and crusty paint finish . No chips to the edges , damage or repairs.
Decorative large-scale pair of urns of understated classical design , which would provide style and symmetry to a terrace , garden or portico setting.
Possibly by the Coalbrookdale foundry .
