Description

C20th vintage Lalique glass "Dampierre" pattern vase.
Designed in 1948 by Marc Lalique, the "Dampierre" vase is produced in a combination of clear and satin crystal. The body is decorated with carved sparrows, the birds interspersed with foliage. The design pays tribute to two themes dear to Rene Lalique , the Fauna and Flora.
The underside of the base etched in script " Lalique France " .
In excellent original condition with no cracks , chips or damage.
Purchased by the previous owners in Paris c.1960 .
