Description

Late C19th Austrian decorated terracotta study of a miniature dachshund.
Realistically modelled and coloured study of a male miniature dachshund in the style of Goldsheider , Vienna , Austria. The dog is portrayed in standing pose with his head turned and tilted to dexter , the tail extended . The model is complete with realistic glass eyes and shown wearing a collar .
The sculptor has skilfully captured the distinctive features of the breed and has created a characterful study of immense charm.
In good original condition with minor historic restoration to the tail . No manufacturers marks or stamps.
