Early C20th oak 'scratch-built' models of coastal lighthouses.
Two interesting and decorative carved oak models of maritime coastal light-houses constructed as lamps . The oak shaped and tapering columnar bodies with 'block-work stone' detail , each standing on a hewn 'rocky' outcrop or island with steps detail . The dome tops with circular glass light or lens .
One lamp has been constructed for mains use , whilst the other is battery operated . Sold in as seen condition, need rewiring .
Quirky decoration for a seaside home perhaps or for a student of pharology.
