Collection of decorative C19th cast-iron door-stops, all in their apparently original contemporaneous or original paint finishes . Probably American.
Interesting collection of 7 cast-iron doorstops, comprising of a pair of rams , a pair of lying dogs , a pair of wheatsheaves and a basket of fruit. All in seemingly original polychrome paint decoration. These examples are probably of American origin , having been brought to England by the previous owners' immigrant family circa 1900 from Pennsylvania U.S.A .
