Superb quality late C19th Chinese Qing Dynasty carved hardwood occasional table on folding base.
Heavily carved Chinese 'hongmu' table of 12 sides with folding base or stand . The top with superbly carved dragon frieze panels and leaf-carved edge. The folding base heavily carved with leaf , flowerhead and bamboo style details and with a central finial.
The top with a pleasing lightly faded colour and patina, the base and sides of the top retaining a deep rich dark patination. The panel top with minor gaps to 12-sided edge from natural shrinkage and aging .
