Mid C19th English Chinoiserie lacquer table top .
Decorative Chinese style raised lacquer-work circular table top , lacking base. Central Chinese-inspired fantasy scene with court figures, pavilions , exotic birds in a landscape.
Gilded edge and bearers to the reverse.
Minor loss /split to joint in bottom quarter and some minor historic marks and scratches. Has a good aged crackulature finish and patination.
Has been used as a wall display item but would benefit from being mounted on a sympathetic base as a table .
