C19th French carved giltwood vase or jardiniere stand in the Louis XVI style.
High quality carved giltwood stand raised on bold cabriole supports with carved scroll feet . The shaped friezes with carved floral and rococo scroll decoration. The circular top with a raised rim edge.
In excellent original condition, the gilding with a soft glow withareas of atmospheric rouge gesso ground showing .
Strong and stable , a decorative and practical stand for porcelain or bronze display.
