Description

Early C19th George IV period mahogany open bookcase of graduated 'waterfall' design.
A highly practical and high quality mahogany bookcase fitted with graduated shelves and fitted with 2 drawers to the base with original turned knob pull handles . The drawers fitted escutcheons and locks but lacking keys.
The top surmounted with a classically-inspired design carved and shaped pediment. The shelves each with a moulded front edge.
The shaped sides of solid mahogany, stained and polished panelled back and mahogany-faced shelves . The whole raised on 4 original turned feet.
In excellent original condition. Has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
