Late C19th mahogany bedside cupboard or cabinet of superior quality.
Superbly-made mahogany beside cupboard fitted with a drawer and panelled door cupboard enclosing a shelf , each with original stylish brass fittings .
Constructed from high grade well-figured 'plum pudding' mahogany with a rich colour and patina. The top fitted with a shaped three-quarter gallery , a carved decorative band beneath . Standing on a base of ogee moulded section with shaped feet.
Though key is missing , the quality of the cabinet is emphasised by being fitted with a lock by the prestigious Hobbs & Co. London.
In excellent original condition, minor ring-mark to top .
