Smart Italian table or jewellery casket with all-over classical style foliate and flower-head marquetry inlay ,with motherofpearl shell and bone flower-head design details.
The lid with moulded edge with conforming mould to base. The interior with original crimson red velvet lining , the base with similar covering. Fitted with twin brass hinges and steel lock (key missing)
Has suffered a small area of water damage to inlay of lid , and some minor losses to some leaves of motherofpearl inlay.
