Early C20th French Chinoiserie lacquer top occasional table on gilt-brass 'faux-bamboo' base.
Very chic lacquer-topped occasional table probably made by 'Maison Jansen' ,Paris, France c.1920.
'Maison Jansen' founded in Paris c. 1880 , are renowned for their production of high-quality decorative furnishings.
Incorporating a C19th Chinese lacquer panel mounted upon a gilded brass simulated/'faux' bamboo base with splayed bottom legs and cross stretcher.
The top with wear and some 'crackulature' / crazing to lacquered surface commensurate with age and use.
Smart occasional table of useful proportions.
