Pair of late C19th French miniature enamel tazzas on ormolu bases.
Smart pair of vivid 'blue-de-roi' enamel dished tazzas with gilded fleur-de-lys decoration mounted upon cast gilt ormolu bronze tripod bases. The finely-cast bases with hoof feet and chased decoration . Both bear engraved reference numbers from the unknown maker.
Quality pair of miniature 'objets de virtu' , produced in an arresting colour combination.
A minor nick to enamel on edge of one tazza , barely visible to the naked eye.
