Trio of C19th classical black and white engravings after Luigi Rossini .Good clean ,well-defined impressions of views from ancient Roman sites in well-mounted gilt-wood frames with double-mount and marble paper borders. All bearing titles, "Avanzi del Tempio di Marte vendicatore..." and "Veduta dell'altro principale Ingresso del Colosseo" both dated Roma 1820 and measuring W 26" x H 32 ". "Veduta dell Venduta dell Arco dell Giano " dated Roma 1822 and measuring W 24" x H 29". The Italian artist Luigi Rossini (1790-1857)was born in Ravenna and produced his Roman antiquities series in 1819. A decorative set of 3 Classical view engravings in 'ready-to-hang' condition. Italy c.1820.
