C19th George IV period mahogany fold-over top tea-table. Excellent quality 'plum pudding' figured mahogany tea-table ,of D-shaped form with folding swivel action top with concealed compartment beneath. Raised on a tapering octagonal column to a shaped platform base with moulded sabre supports terminating in floriate-cast gilded brass capped castors. Wonderful rich colour timber with a striking figured grain throughout the top. Cleaned and waxed , no splits ,warps or damage, original finish and patina. Highly practical side/games table , with facility as 2 person dining or supper table.
