Pair late C19th Japanese blue and white porcelain chargers. With precisely painted geometric designs , good large pair of deep-dished chargers. The centres decorated in 'mons' or Japanese heraldry symbols. Fitted with old wires to backs with original rim-holes to raised 'foot' for hanging and display. Good strong colours and striking designs ,both in perfect, unrestored condition . Typical trailing decoration to reverse borders , with painted marks and kiln-spurs to the centre. Dia. 19" . Japan c.1875
