Description

Late C18th George III period mahogany secretaire book-case.Fold-down cross-banded secretaire drawer front with good twin door satin-wood interior , fitted with an arrangement of pigeon-holes and drawers. Double-door top section with moulded cornice above unusually designed astragal glazing bars with oval centres, enclosing adjustable shelves. Raised on ogee-section bracket feet . Fitted with old brass replacement handles , brass key escutheons. Good original colour and patina .
H 90" x W 48" x D 22".
