A spectacular late C19th / early C20th colbalt blue glass margin-edged mirror.
The shaped arched double dome-top mirror with a carved gilt-wood outer edge and gilt-wood inner moulding surrounding the deep colbalt blue coloured margin panels. The central silvered mirror plate having a subtle bevelled edge surround .
A highly decorative and chic mirror of rare larger scale and proportions, taking the design inspiration from early C18th mirror forms .
The verso fitted with original panelled back-boards.
In excellent original condition with only one minor hairline crack to lower rhs blue panel .
