Large late C19th/ early C20th Italian carved alabaster lamp .
The tapering ring-turned ovoid body having twin leaf-carved volute-style handles, raised on a carved socle support onto a stepped block plinth base.
Of impressive scale , the creamy white alabaster having subtle veining and figuring .
In excellent original condition with no damage or repairs, minor historic nibbles to edges of handles .
Having been recently re-wired and tested .
