Pair of late C19th/ early C20th Chinese Qing Dynasty carved huali hardwood end tables .
Smart smaller-scale pair of Chinese hardwood stands or end tables . The square inset panelled tops raised on shaped rounded-section legs united by stepped stretchers. The friezes having carved and pierced traditional fruiting prunus or vine design panels. Of freestanding form.
In excellent strong and stable condition with no damage or repairs. The tops having achieved a mellow colour and patina to the figured hardwood, some minor marks and stains commensurate with age , use and purpose.
A useful pair of tables for a reception room or perhaps as vase or jardiniere stands .
