Impressively-scaled bold mid C19th ormolu-mounted cut �over-lay� glass column lamp of flamboyant design and colour.
The gilded �baroque� style base and �capital� having a vivid rose-pink cut and facetted overlay glass column stem mounted over a gilded central tube . Retains the original cut-glass oil reservoir below the bulb and shade holders, having previously been sympathetically converted from an oil-lamp to electricity .
In excellent condition with no damage to the glass and only minor wear and rubbing to the gilded surfaces commensurate with age , use and purpose.
A strikingly-coloured glass lamp to add extravagance and flamboyance to an interior scheme.
Can be re-wired to client�s specifications.
