Early C19th Regency period mahogany dressing table.
Fitted 3 frieze drawers each fitted with cast brass knob pulls ( one compressed but functioning ) , the centre larger drawer having a brass lock . Raised on elegant ring-turned legs all fitted with original brass cup castors. The turnings having some ebonised alternate detail, corresponding to the ebony string line inlay to drawer edges , bottom edge and end panels.
The figured mahogany top fitted with a three-quarter gallery upstand with shaped end terminals , the edge of the top with reeded detail.
In fresh-to-market original condition , has achieved a pleasing mellow colour and patina. Minor shrinkage cracks to edges of top (see photos) . Minor historic marks and stains commensurate with age and use.
A smart Regency period table of useful height and practical scale .
