Late C18th George III period mahogany oval �butler�s� tray with brass-hinged folding sides .
A smart dense Cuban mahogany hinged and folding sided oval butler�s serving tray with an unusual 2-panel centre . The patinated brass hinges with sprung mechanisms to hold the folding sides in position.
Each folding side with an integral shaped handle .
In excellent original condition with some historic marks and stains commensurate with age, use and purpose. No breaks, splits or repairs.
The heavy grade of selected well-figured mahogany having achieved a rich colour and patina.
