C18th George III period mahogany chest of drawers.
Raised on shapely ogee bracket feet, fitted 2 short and 3 long drawers all with original ‘swan-neck’ brass handles , escutcheons and ‘cock-beaded’ edges, all retaining the original blue-paper lining . The top with a moulded edge .
Of desirable lower height and broader proportions , offering capacious storage. In ‘fresh-to-market’ , country house condition. The top with some historic marks and stains commensurate with age , use and purpose . The whole with a mellow colour and patina, having it’s original polished surface .
