Mid C18th George II period mahogany fold-over tea-table of rare diminutive size and scale.
Raised on cabriole legs onto pad feet, mahogany brass-hinged, square-cornered , fold-over top table of unusually small proportions with a stepped outline .
The shaped side frame off-setting the rear cabriole supports inside at the rear of the table ,the back with a gate-leg action to support the folding top when opened .
The frieze fitted with a single ‘blind’ oak-lined drawer .
Superior grade of figured heavy Cuban mahogany . Has been sympathetically cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
One historic repair to one of the front cabriole legs.
