Decorative set of 4 early C20th Chinoiserie style bamboo and cane garden or orangery armchairs .
Pale-coloured bamboo and cane-seated armchairs of Chinese influence , resonating the Chinoiserie and Oriental fantasy interiors of The Prince Regent�s Brighton Pavilion and the designs of Sir William Chambers .
The shaped seats having �hooped� rail backs and in-filled panels, the backs with a central panel of �cock-pen� design. Raised on six legs with connecting stretchers .
In excellent original condition, strong and stable . All having achieved a pale , faded neutral colour and patina.
A very stylish set of 4 armchairs for use in an exterior or interior scheme.
