Interesting late C18th George III period Chinoiserie lacquer top occasional table with elm tripod base.
The black Chinoiserie lacquer rectangular top raised on a turned elm ‘gun barrel’ column onto shaped tripod supports with pad feet .
The raised lacquer decorated top featuring a typical Chinese style landscape , pagoda and figural scene . The lacquer with a crazed and aged atmospheric surface . The elm base having an historic repair to one leg , though sound and stable .
An unusual combination of materials creating a decorative occasional or lamp table of practical scale and proportions.
