Set of 4 early C20th composition stone Indian elephant garden ornaments.
Decorative set of 4 caparisoned Indian elephants, the backs with rectangular apertures which could be used for planting , probably conceived to hold tent or flag poles. The ceremonially-clad elephants depicted with raised trunks .
Well-modelled and cast with defined detail , and having achieved an atmospherically weathered surface .
Would suit either both an exterior or interior decorative scheme.
