Highly decorative early C20th Indian carved rosewood and bone inlaid ottoman box .
Octagonal ottoman with double hinged lids and locking plush-lined compartments . Profusely and skilfully inlaid with contrasting box-wood and bone marquetry decoration featuring multiple elephants in wooded landscapes , with panels of carved decoration .The moulded edges inlaid with further decorative carved bone motifs . Raised upon short turned feet .
In excellent original condition with no damage or losses . Has keys .
