Description

Pair of mid C19th Baroque period style brass andirons .
Impressively-scaled pair of cast brass C17th style andirons with cherubic masks to the front , the spherical pierced and cast bodies with floral detail , topped with turned finials . Raised on shaped trestle type feet .
Fitted with cast-iron rests to the rear , the brass having a mellow, aged period style patina and surface .
