Mid-C20th Italian gilt-metal 'wheat-sheaf' based glass-top occasional table. Modelled as a rope-bound sheaf of harvested wheat , smart stylish vintage coffee/side table with loose glass top. Original gilded finish, no damage or losses to ears of wheat. A similar table can be seen in the interiors of Coco Chanel's Paris apartment (shown). H 20"

Early C20th walnut demi-lune side table in the early Georgian period style.
Early C20th walnut demi-lune side table in the early Georgian period style. Faithful copy of an early C18th walnut side table constructed in the traditional period manner. Raised on shaped cabriole legs with leaf and hare-bell carving to the knee, and fitted with an oak-lined frieze drawer ,complete with pierced back-plate brass handle. Having been polished and finished to imitate the patina and wear of a period table. The cross-banded top with cross-grain moulded edge which had been made with shrinkage to simulate age.
The frieze inlaid with panels of double herringbone banding , again a feature consistent with a walnut table from the first quarter of the C18th. The half-round top with burr veneers in 'book-matched' opposing sections.
The top with some old marks and wear consistent with age and use .

Good piece of period style decoration of useful ,practical scale.

Excellent colour and patination, cleaned and waxed.

Elegant tripod-base wine table with a reeded edge octagonal top . The 3 splay legged base with ebony line inlay and gilt ball feet . The tapering spiral or wrythen turned column supporting the octagonal top of good mellow faded patina with conforming ebony stringing .

Excellent condition , minor marks to top consistent and commensurate with age , use and purpose.

Cleaned and waxed ,ready to use.

C19th satin-birch circular topped tripod-base candle-stand or occasional table in the manner of Holland & Sons.

Elegant tall table on finely turned column stem with delicately proportioned shaped supports . Circular moulded-edge top.

Probably by the London cabinet-making firm of Holland & Sons (1803-1942) , awarded the Royal Warrant early in the reign of Queen Victoria and supplied furniture to many of the Royal residencies and palaces.

In as found 'country-house' condition , with some polish-loss and water-staining to the top . No breaks or repairs .

Late C19th Italian inlaid walnut and olive-wood games-top table. Square canted-corner top tripod base table with games board inlaid centre panel . Produced in the Sorrento area of Italy , famed for the production of such inlaid wares , known as 'intarsia', for centuries. Chequer-banded and parquetry design inlay throughout ,with cross-grain edge of contrasting fruit-wood inlays . Fretted-form shaped tripod leg supports with decorative inlay and a conforming vase turned column.
Of good rich colour , with no losses or damage.

The well-figured single-piece mahogany top having achieved a pleasing rich patina. Strong , sturdy construction yet of elegant Regency design and proportions.

Early C18th George II period oak drop-leaf table of small proportions. Charming diminutive-scale cottage-sized oak table with twin gate-leg action raised on rounded tapering supports terminating in pad feet. The twin rounded flaps with 'rule-edge' joints ,raising to form an ovoid table.

Practical folding table of portable proportions.

Good rich patina and colour.

In good usable and stable condition, with minor losses and wear to pad feet from use on stone-flagged floors.
