Late C19th/ early C20th Chinese carved hardwood scroll-end Kang table of larger scale.
Stylish Chinese Kang or opium table of unusual scale and proportions . The carved hardwood scroll-ended rectangular frame with a figured burr elm panel top . Carved friezes , of free-standing form with shaped open panelled ends .
Superb quality timber with a rich colour and and patina. In excellent original condition with no repairs or damage.
A highly decorative , stylish and practical table for use as a reception or coffee table.
