Description

Late C19th/early C20th Chinese Qing Dynasty carved red and black lacquer vase .
Striking incised and carved Chinese lacquer-work vase of bulbous form with stylised ‘archaic-form’ handles to the neck . The lacquer applied on to a blue enamelled copper alloy body .
Intricate all-round carved design .
Mounted on its original carved hardwood loose stand .
In excellent original condition, with only one minor loss to enamel inside rim of the neck .
