Late C19th classical ‘Grand Tour’ souvenir bronzed metal bust study of Hermes after the antique. .
Well-cast study of the Greek god Hermes raised on an ebonised wooden socle base , the underside with original red faux leather lining .
Hermes in Greek mythology is an Olympian deity and herald or messenger to the gods
In excellent condition with a good bronzed patina and colour, minor high-points from polishing .
