Description

Impressive large-scale pair of early C19th Regency period cut-glass ‘bon-bon’ jars or fruit-coolers .
Raised on stepped square-section bases with facetted socle supports , the flared campana-style bodies with vertical cutting and a horizontal bands of cut ‘laurel-leaf’ decoration. The removable dome-top covers with corresponding decoration and surmounted with cut finial knops.
Stunning decorative pair of large glass bonboniere or fruit-cooler vases for a period sideboard or serving table .
In excellent original condition with no damage, chips or repairs. Rare survivors.
