Nest of 4 late C19th Chinese Qing Dynasty carved hardwood graduated tables .
Crisply-carved quartetto of Chinese hardwood or rosewood rectangular top tables . The frames ,stretchers and legs carved as simulated bamboo , the friezes carved and pierced with fruiting vine prunus decoration.
The inset panel tops of well-chosen figured timber , all tables with a rich patina with only minor variances of colour due to varied use and exposure to sun-light.
In excellent original condition with no breaks , losses , damage or repairs. Strong joints and robust construction with no movement.
