Description

Early C19th George IV period mahogany 2 -tier rectangular low buffet or etagere .
Useful 2-tier mahogany etagere with turned column uprights and carved circular finial caps , raised on the original gilt-brass castors with large spoke wheels , each stamped “Cope’s Patent” .
Probably skilfully reduced in height a long while ago , from a larger buffet but now forming a highly practical and functional low-level reception room two-tier table or stand .
In good condition with some minor historic marks and stains to the platforms . Original polish and patination.
