Brightly-coloured ‘beaker’ vase of flared form , with the distinctive decoration of the Imari palette from the Arita region . The colbalt blue and iron-red design highlighted with gilding , and sprigs of green enamel foliage.
Typical design elements with birds , rocky landscapes , chrysanthemums and peonies.
A finely decorated C19th century porcelain vase in the style of the late C17th / early C18th Genroku period.
In excellent condition with no breaks or repairs. Minor rubbing to gilding of the top rim.
