Description

Pair of mid C19th Victorian period mahogany oval-top occasional or lamp tables .
Scarce pair of mahogany oval-topped tables on well-carved turned and reeded swollen vase column stems . Raised on carved cabriole quadrupite legs with scrolled toes , and an inverted turned finial beneath the column.
The oval mahogany tops with a simple 'thumb-moulded' edge above a shallow frieze border below .
In excellent original condition with only minor historic marks to the tops commensurate with age, use and purpose.
Good consistent mellow patina and colour, have been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Useful and scarcely-found true pair of tables to add symmetry to an interior setting to use as lamp or occasional tables .
